About the Foothills Bluegrass Music Society

Since our incorporation as an Alberta non-profit society in 1987, the Foothills Bluegrass Music Society has been promoting, presenting, and facilitating the playing and teaching of bluegrass music in Calgary and the surrounding area.

As we near our third decade of success, the FBMS continues to offer a myriad of concerts, workshops and theme based social gatherings throughout the year. Operating on the volunteer efforts of our membership, we take pride in presenting warm and inviting, family friendly musical experiences open to the entire community.
